Two languages. One universe. Zero margin for drift.
Bujji & Bhairava is the animated companion series to Kalki 2898 AD, same universe, same characters, built for Amazon Prime Video in Hindi and English. Companion content carries a particular risk: if the voices drift from the world the film established, the universe stops feeling like one place. Both language tracks had to sound native to that world, and to each other.
Parallel tracks, one direction.
We ran casting and voice direction for Hindi and English as parallel tracks under one creative direction, so a character's attitude, timing, and chemistry survived the language switch intact. Animation sessions are performance sessions: the banter between Bujji and Bhairava lives or dies on rhythm, and every take was directed for that rhythm in both languages, not just for clean sync.
Streaming worldwide on Amazon Prime Video.
The series went out on Amazon Prime Video with both tracks we directed (Hindi and English) playing to audiences who arrived straight from the film with expectations already set. Atmosphere Studios ran the localization, with Nikhil Lalwani leading the Hindi and English voice direction and casting for TakeMyView. Bujji & Bhairava shows what it takes to keep a franchise's voice consistent across formats and languages.
Hear it for yourself. Two versions, the Hindi for India and the English for the world, cast and directed by Nikhil Lalwani.
